will satelite TV work in the rain?

yes satelite tv does work in rain i have had direct tv for 5 years now the only time we lose it is in a severe storm. and only for a few minutes at that It should, unless you get terrific winds in the area...Sometimes winds make it go out of focus to the satellite in the sky... Hell no, Directv sucks in the rain. Every single time it rains the tv goes out. I used to have Dish Network and when it rain it never went out. So who knows. Directv, offers a lil more, but then again Dish offers other stuff as you get a couple movie channels along with your package. Directv you have to pay for them. Directv is overated. Id choose Comcast anyday over all of them most likly not good to get your TV wet If the Satellite is big enough it will work in the rain, but most consumer satellites are only 18" making them to small to guarantee a signal. during an appoarching severe storm my dish goes out for 5 to 10 minutes...Its a good way to remember to run for cover out here...regular rain or snow doesnt matter, unless it was installed improperly and not pointing for maximum signal..
