The VHF/UHF receiver that would be currently built into your TV will receive analog signals only which will be switched off by February 17, 2009 in the U.S. Yes, it will still work. When the switch over occurs, that means that all stations will have to broadcast in digital signal. Your TV will still work, but you will not be able to get the digital signal. Anyone who does not have a HDTV, will be able to get an analog signal, as they do now.
