why is the picture on my tv set too large for the screen...like it's zoomed in a bit?
there's no aspect ratio settings in the menu, it just seems to be zoomed...There is a switch in the back for polarity ( +, - ) and one for low med. and high- all under the heading "picture tilt" these switches do nothing, could they be the culprit?

For sure you need to contact customer information center or read the manual. But as I now picture tilt is not related to picture size. Try enter the menu and find H-Size, V-Size. If it's too wide, something in the EW pincushion circuit has shorted. If it's too high, something in the vertical amplifier is out of whack. Sounds like an RCA. There's a capacitor and/or diode in the pincushion circuit that shorts and causes a too wide picture with a bowing effect on the sides. check for a video aspect button on the remote. mine is on the remote and not in the menu screen.
