Wireless headphones for television,?
Purchased new headphones for t.v., after connecting them it still doesn't function properly--there is no sound at all. Can you tell me what to do, please?

I am assuming we've checked the batteries in the headset.
If you've connected them to the TV's headphone jack, then you just need to turn up the TV's volume. If you've connected them to the "Audio Out" on the back of the TV then there are 2 possibilities.
Option 1
Depending on your TV, if there are 2 sets of audio outputs (red and white RCA connectors) you must use the one labelled "Variable Out". Then the output is controlled by the TV's volume control. If the TV has the option to turn off its speakers, I would do so as you may find you have to turn up the TV a fair amount.
Option 2
If there is only one set of audio outputs, it may be switchable from the TV's on-screen menus.
Go to the Audio part of your on-screen menu and look for a setting called "Audio Out" or "Speaker On/Off" or "Audio Output".
Set it to "Variable" or set the speakers to "Off".
Again, you may find you need to turn the TV up much higher than usual.
The best bet is to turn up the TV's volume all the way and then turn up the volume of the headset to the loudest you would ever want them and then turn down the TV's volume to an acceptable level.
