Will cold weather harm our new TV if we stored it in the garage until Christmas?
I bought my husband a new TV for Christmas, and I need to store it in the garage so that he won't see it, will the weather bother it?

Humidity is a more serious threat compared to low temperature. Its fine to store it there. Just make sure its "thawed out" before he turns the TV on. Let it stand in room temperature before plugging it in and operating it. Merry Christmas! Another thing to bear in mind is that it may get damp whilst in the garage. answers are right on.I would take a hair dryer and with the tv off and unplugged,blow it in the back down the open vents.Can't hurt and if there is some condensation,it will dry up.Merry Christmas...
