Why movies played on TV are better than on computer.?
When I play movie CDs/DVDs on computer & on TV (DVD Players), I find a lot of difference. The quality when played on TV is far better than on computer. Why is it so ?

its not the quality of the video. but the size of the screen.
Movies on tapes or disc are designed to be view on a TV screen. Althought the computer video/monitor display a better resolution, the video information stored on the disc is still limited to be viewed on the TV screen, and when you watch this on a computer screen, the video degrades a little as your screen will try to compensate. For TV this is the main purpose, for PC it is one of the many. Because TVs are made to play movies and the computer resolution is too high for most movies.
