Why is Vizio so cheap?
I'm wondering how they are selling these 32" LCD (maybe plasma I forget) TVs for only $700. Are these things any good?

I just brought one for my bedroom.The biggest reason is the resolution of the more expensive model. If you have had a standard TV you won't notice the difference. Its a good clean picture and seems to function very well. For the price it was worth the gamble for me. I got a Sony Grand Wega a few months ago and paid alot more and its just a good a picture. Not the same format but still good. One huge reason for it is due to the fact that they don't spend a lot of money on advertising/marketing. Their models are "good enough" to be comparable to name brands from consumers that see them at places like Sam's Club or Costco.
