Why does the picture on my lcd screen go greenish when watching dvd's?

you have something magnetic like a speaker near the screen/the leads aren't plugged in properly? sounds like a bad connection from the dvd player to the screen,
Try checking the scart connector or use SVHS instead check the cables, did you put a strong magnet near your dvd colection? Check the menu on the DVD and the LCD. Ensure that both are looking at each other correctly. I bet that one of them is either outputting or inputting RGB (VGA or computer) instead of component. The DVD should be 'progressive scan component' and the LCD should be 'component' . make sure the scart lead is connected correctly
