Which type of TV to choose?
with all this crap about lcd plasma crt projection ......... what is the best thing to choose? anyone knows a website or something that explains it? thanks.

I think the "best" all depends on your size and budget first.
DLP projection is great if you are looking for a big screen TV. If you want a flat TV, then your choices are Plasma and LCD. Both are nice, and everyone has their opinions about them. LCD's cost a lot more per inch. So if you want a flat TV and you want something bigger than around 42" then your best choice is plasma.
Some people think LCD looks better, and some think Plasma looks better. We all see colors differently, so the best person to tell you what you like is nobody other than You. Go to the store and look around to see what looks good to you.
People tend to drift toward images that they believe look "correct." What I mean is shades, skin tones, brightness, etc. We all have our own perception of what is correct.
Best advice I can give you is, narrow it down to what you prefer. Your priorities. Flat? Size of the screen? Your budget range. Hang it on the wall? Then we can help you choose the best in that catagory based on what your individual needs. Don't get CRT projection.
The best price to size and picture quality right now is DLP projection.
If you really want a flat panel LCD's are the next best.
And if you have a ton of money absolutely need a flat TV and want a big screen, go plasma. DLP also uses a lamp, that gets dimmer and dimmer.
