Dude all I know is Westinghouse make great Whiteware!
Stick with the main brands and you can't go wrong. Like everything, cheapest is generally not the best!
Recommend: SONY - No1 sales in the world and reliable.
SHARP and SAMSUNG for a cheaper option, but still very good. And pretty much ranked just behind Sony.
Most LCDs have a life span of "Up to 60,000 hrs to half brightness"
So a very long time!
In summary, $699 is probably a good price for this TV, but I'd recommend you spend a bit more and think Quality and Long term.
