13 yr old 32 in. Sony tube tv has squiggly line pic but sound fine. Repair? Replace?
This tv has been awesome w/no probs. Gray horizontal "squiggles" make impossible to view. Thought tube shot but the graphics for volume and s video and video 3 are clear except when on the tv. Can the tuner be bad? Worth repairing or getting a new one? Thanks!

For many reasons, a 13 yr. old TV with your problems isn't worth repairing, assuming you can even get parts for such an old model. Time to get a new one, and with a digital tuner. Hard to get rid of a good TV isn't it?
We just bought a new tv, a plasma and our 14 year old tv has been retired to our games room.
It is a Philips 68cm and is still working as good as it did 14 years ago.
Mind you, I wouldn't spend any money repairing it.
Maybe time for a new one?
