If you do not want that to happen you have to disable your call waiting while online, you could do that by dialing *70 (that is star 70) before your internet access line (the number that your modem dials to get you on the net. Good LUCK. Because you have call-waiting and are using the same phone line Chances are your modem cannot handle the extra line. You can buy a adapter that can switch the line automatically with out losing connection. Although I can't tell you the brand off the top of my head. You probably have call waiting. I had that problem til I got DSL now I can talk on the phone and play on Yahoo Answers at the same time!
