What do dial to show "no id" on caller id when you call someone?
I know you have to dial *67 and it will show "restricted" but I know someone that calls me just show "NO ID" on my cell phone and doesn't show anything at all if he calls on my landline phone, the phone just rings. He did it to me many times. We don't talk anymore so I didn't get the chance to ask.Any idea how to do that? Thanks!
Please take note: "NO ID" on cellphone and "nothing" at all on landline phone. (I am NOT asking about that shows "restricted")

If your just wanting to mask it yeah *67. But if you want it so that it is virtually untraceable you could call through skype if it isn't set up to accept calls from other phone numbers, or in basic terms as it is when you download it. Right now it is free for outgoing calls until the end of the year, afterwards it's only 2.1 cents a min. *67 and wait for tone You haven't told us WHERE you are.
The number to dial to suppress caller line ID varies with location. There are also different systems of caller ID in use.
