Usage of Chargeable batteries?
I have a telefon End User Unit that needs 3 AA batteries for its programmable display- Can I use 2 chargeable batteries along with a non-chargeable battery?what pre-cautions should I take in the case? What if I use batteries from different vendors.Response solicited from researchers/experimenters who have had/ tried / had this situation only.thanks.

a chargable battery has a potential diff (PD) 1.2 V
a non chargable battery has 1.5V
YOUR EQUIPMENT NEEDS 3.6V
by adding 1.2 x 2 +1.5 = 3.9
hence there is a chance to damage your equipment,do not use in this way.
if you use batteries from diff vendors , you must check for same capacity,ie M Ah , date of mfg ( should not be more difference ) It is no harm using 2 chargeble batteries alongwith a non chargeble battery. Make sure you do not try to recharge non chargable battery.
You can charge any brand of chargeble battery in your charger. Diferent vendors do not make difference but date of manufacturing and expiry does.
