Some one rings up up from a seemingly genuine BT number using name of reverse call charge asking you to accept a reverse call charge. Ignore, do not say a word. Just replace the receiver.
Has anyone else had this happen to them?

thanks No Havn't heard of that one! can you explain a little further,why is it a scam,how do you know it not genuine? There are so many scams in the UK that it is hard to tell which one deserves more indignation.
I heard a news report on radio 4 two days ago from the police that most of the UK call centres have been infiltrated by gangs after your personal details so that they can steal money straight from your bank without you noticing (unless you want to have a seige mentality).
The situation is worse in the overseas call centres such as india (apparantly).
The professional scam industry is now very sophisticated. Just have at the link below if you want to be frightened. i have used a reverse charge call before and i know my brother did when he called the uk from france while on holiday
