Can u detect if a phone fell on water?

my phone black jack fell on water and i would like to know how does the company know if it felll on water if i return it ...and what are the signs? once they take your phone do they send you a new one?

It is a paper label sensitive to water. It permanently changes color just to keep you from using your warranty. There are some areas on the board of the phone, that has a special metal alloy that immediately rusts or changes color if it got wet.

So yes, they will know if it fell into the water, as they make these areas specifically for that purpose.

So you won't get a warranty repair for the phone and they won't send you a new one.

You will probably have to pay for a repair, I'm afraid. unless you thoroughly dry it out with a hair drier it will have water in it. Take the back off of it, take the battery out, and take everything off you can, also remove the Sim card and dry it (the phone) out with the hair drier. Also shake it. Then put it back together. Take it back to where you got it or one of their stores. They may give you another one or may not, it would depend on your warranty and how long you have had the phone. All they can tell is that the circuitry was shorted, and usually the only time that happens IS when the phone falls into the water. So yes. The companies usually send you a refurbished old one immediately, and repair yours for someone else
