its a toll-free number.so its free for you!! I'll beg to differ. The US domestic TF ranges are 800, 888, 877 and 866 per the FCC.

801 is Utah, 803 is in South Carolina, 809 is part of the North American # plan but it's Dominican Republic. So "8" is not the magic catalyst in deciding a toll free number.
So you're paying... how about your question next... the Bell Pay phone isn't going to be cheap, although they'll probably tell you to put in the right amount of money. Best deal is probably find a calling card at a convenience store or something. My old MCI/Verizon card would work on Bell phones in QC and Ontario no problem. They give you a toll-free number you call first, and then you can punch in your number.
Plus side of this, you can also use it from your home and it won't show up a charge there either. And you might get more "minutes" from home too.
The pay phone alone could easily be .40 or more per minute... I'd expect a rip off. The calling card would likely be more near .05 or better.
