it could work. it all depends on the phone. i worked for Verizon customer service for a few years and activated a few alltel phone on the verizon network. the best thing to do would be to have the serial number off of the phone and call the customer service line from alltel and just tell them u want to activate a phone and see if it works. the only thing is that some of the features might not work. thee internet and such might be specific to one company so they might not work.
