Yahoo mail through Palm TX will not set up. Using palm versa mail, Aol works fine, but not my yahoo

I believe that VersaMail uses POP protocol to grab mail off Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, etc. The only problem is, Yahoo & Hotmail limit POP access to pay-users only (I'm pretty sure that's the case). Therefore, the problem is not VersaMail or the TX... it's tha the Yahoo server won't allow POP access (and AOL does). Try Gmail... Gmail also allows POP access and is much better than Yahoo in my opinion too. I had a problem getting my yahoo mail to work on my Palm Treo 700P also. I could not get it to accept my password for webmail. I had to change my password. It previously had a percent sign in it. :) when I changed the password to a new one that didn't have a %, it worked ok. Don't know if that is your exact problem or not, but worth a thought.
