Why can't my USB port read my mp3 player but it can read my modem n etc.?
Note: My USB port still can charge my mp3 player but i can't add songs inside.

That depends on what MP3 player you have, and if you're using a USB 1.0 or USB 2.0 port, and if you need to install a program before it'll recognize it. Not all MP3 players are plug-n-play.
