Any PocketPC or Palm device can sync with MS Outlook fairly easily. My favorite smartphone is the Treo from Palm:

Palm is famous for producing powerful, yet easy-to-use devices. You may also consider the Motorla Q as an alternative. apple or MAC I have the Moto Q. The wireless sync is very cool. Just leave my home computer on and the Q sync's email, to-do list, appointments etc. No effort on my part.
