What's wrong with my Ipaq?
my 1955 stopped working a couple of days ago. i did a soft boot/ hard boot, took the battery out, and it still not working. when i charge the ipaq, the red blinking button won't come on, but when i take the battery out while it's hooked on the computer, the unit turns on and i can use it. when i put the battery back on, it makes a weird sound and shuts down. what's the deal?

Well, being a former HP ipaq user and I also happen to own an hp computer, printer & wireless mouse, I have to say that it seems like that what you need to do is to get a new battery, and do a system reset to completely restore the settings (Note: the ipaq has non-violatle memory, do not worry) and then if that dose not work go to HP.com, and type in your product name and click on the live chat buttton to chat with a certified rep. you need a new battery
