why in japan electrical devices use 110v dc power supply?

In most of the countries power system is 230v ac but in japan is not.

Japan most electrical devices use 100V AC power supply.

IH cooking heater and air conditioner use 200V three-phase AC.

Main reason why using 100V is safety reason, 100V preventing death from electricity. Another reason is probably just follow the American's way, because when Edison had established electronic power company 126 years ago, he surpried 110V DC electricity and after that he changed 110V AC. In response to this, American manufucture made electronic device, probably. Japan imported American (or other country's) appliances. Since then, Japanese regular voltage is set as 100V AC and actual voltage varies from 90V to 110V in Japan, now.

Japan use 50Hz and 60Hz. Eastern part of Japan use 50Hz, western part of Japan use 60Hz. This reason why is when Japan purchased electric generators for the first time, Japanese purchased 50Hz genarator from Allgemeine, German company and set it in Tokyo. 60Hz genarator was introduce from General Electric, U.S. and set it in Osaka. Since then, Japanese using two different type of frequecy for 110 years... I do not believe that is true. . .I been to Japan five times and used a device that works on 110 and 220 volts of alternating current. Unless you were in some remote part of Japan, I never heard of 110 volts of Direct Current. Japan is 100V.

110V is the US and Taiwan.

Why? because about 100 years ago, private companies imported many electric lamps with 100V.

Japan govenment admitted they use 100V officially. That's all. Japan's power is 110v AC--- NOT DC. and the only thing funny about their power is that half the country uses 50Hz power and the other half uses 60Hz. does anyone know why that is?
