I wouldn't pay anything because I can fix it. But I can tell you how much I would charge you. I would charge $50 first hour + $25 perhour after that. (at your house). That is the rate I do for friends. $75 1st hour + $30 after for strangers. Or I would charge according to the problem if you dropped it off at my house. But I'd probably take a week to give it back to you. I know stores will charge you $100 minimum for the simplest fixes

2) $0.00 depending on how bad it is it might be cheaper to buy a new one rather than getting it fixed I would probably buy a new one honestly might be cheaper. Hoenstly I wouldnt pay to have it fixed since its probably obsolite now. charges are really based on where you live. To have someone come to the house and lets say replace the power supply. You are looking at $50 for the part and $75 for the labor.

If you take it to a shop somewhere, you might pay a little less on the labor, but not much. In NYC, i found places that would fix the computer for about 40$ an hour with the computer taken to the shop. It should cost much much more if fixed at home.

If i have data that i feel i cant live without, i would pay big bucks.

IF all the data was already backed up, I would get an estimate of how much it would take to fix the computers vs. buying a new one. the prices of new computers have dropped drastically.
