XM or Sirius - Which company will outlast the other?
This isn't a question of who do you like better or which one should I buy because I already have XM. I've been contemplating quitting the service and selling my equipment while I still can. I know that XM hasn't been able to turn a profit recently and I believe that Sirius gave Howard Stern way too much. What are your thoughts?

If you judge by stock movement, Sirius has been on a better path. XM just reduced it's forecast subscriber projection for the end of the year, while Sirius has reaffirmed their projected numbers. XM is also in a lot of trouble with the FCC over their FM transmitter hardware broadcasting too loud and interfering with nearby stereos.
Many have predicted that Sirius and XM will merge to wage a stronger fight against terrestrial radio.
