XM Satellite Radio SPORTSCASTER?
I bought the Sportscaster (mobile XM Radio reciever) & the headset/battery kit that accompanies it. I bought them on 1/9/07, for the last 5 days I continue to get a "Check Antenna" error message. XM tells me to go & return/exchange the headset @ wal-mart (where I got it). I don't have ANY of the original packaging (I DO HAVE THE RECIEPT). I'm concerned they may not allow me to exchange. Anyone ever have this problem with XM Radio? Suggestions? No BS, please. Thanks.

You can call either 1-800shopxm1 or you can call AGT about this issue. You need to try to unplug and replug your antenna in to see if the error message goes away. Also you might need to repostion your antenna as well, some radios are capable of "antenna aiming" also make sure you have no kinks, cuts or splices in your antenna wiring and even sometimes if you have it coiled up it may cause this as well.
It does sound like you may have a hardware issue with the unit itself, not the headset, because it is not picking up the antenna. But try calling 800-shopxm1 or AGT because you might be able to get a replacement unit or have that one repaired instead of dealing with Hell-Mart.
