Why is the number order for the CALCULATOR & the TELEPHONE are opposite to each other?

As in:

for the calculator:-

for the telephone:-

"Actually.. the computer number pad did not take it's current form from the Telephone number pad. Way before phones there were mechanical calculating machines that began the 'standardizing. of the number pad.

When computer keyboards came about both 10-key adding machines and telephones were in wide spread use. The designers of the PC keyboard were attempting to emulate the 10-Key adding machine and the data entry keyboards being used for MainFrame computers. The keypad of the telephone didn't come in to play in the design process at all.... basically because the computer was to be a calculating/data entry device instead of a communications device.

when touch tone was first developed, there was also a 10 key adding machine. some people were so fast on the 10 key that the phone company feared that they would go faster than the phone would take the numbers. this is old 1960's technology, the equipment got better but the number pad remains the same." VEEeery interesting!!!!! It's a conspiracy of some sort!!!
