Why is AM radio still used when it sounds like garbage?
I listen to sports on AM but its maddening at times with the interference signals and not so clear reception.

AM can be improved dramatically with an antenna. Even a simple wire antenna can work wonders.
I listen to a news radio station in my hometown......and I'm 1100 miles away!

i live in Indianapolis and can get stations from Detroit Chicago and Cincinnati I like rush, lars, michael Savage. and Dr laura also No rap Extra frequency spectrum and greater range from transmitter.
