Why doesn't my computer burn a DVD slide show to play on the DVD player?
I have a DVD burner/cd burner, The software ( adobe photoshop elements ), & the discs. Says it has been done succesfully.... but the DVD wont read & play the disc?... Also, It took 3 hours to burn it. Is that typical?... I just got additional speed on my Pc & I have 86% free space.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 use a CD- and DVD-burning engine that Adobe licenses from Sonic Solutions.
You can determine if your CD or DVD burner is compatible with Photoshop Elements by searching the Sonic website. Photoshop Elements uses the same CD- and DVD-burning engine as Sonic Solutions RecordNow!.
To determine if your CD or DVD burner is compatible with Photoshop Elements:

2. From the Please Select Your Manufacturer menu, choose the manufacturer of your CD or DVD burner.

It may be as simple as using an inncorrect type of disc. Call a computer store, tell them what your trying to do... then tell them what type of disc your using.
I've never used the Adobe software program... so if it were I... this is what I'd check first. I have ran into a similair problem when I was trying to make back up copies of my Karaoke disc's. I had to have a certain burner for the program I was using. Plus not all type's of disc would work. Office Depot had there store brand that I never had any trouble with.
