Buy some buffer that's made for that. I heard it does but I use alcohol and it seems to do the trick. I don't know, but it sure does make them minty fresh ! no stupid itll scrath it more try a q tip but the best thing is that u buy a special spray to clean them im not sure about toothpaste but i know for a fact that chapstick does I have always been told that it does. My friends say it works! Yes

.. I doubt it. Toothpaste is not transparent. CDs and DVDs work with light so anything that would fill in the cracks would need to be transparent.

I've used Chapstick. That works pretty well if the scratches aren't deep. Windex is what I use -- spray it on and wipe outwards (not in circular motion) with a paper towel. no I would not suggest it. Some toothpastes have tiny particles in them that can scratch it worse. It might with the right type of toothpaste. I would just use a cd scratch removal kit to be safe. I have used Turtle Wax instead! It really works too I haven't found it to work yet and it can get a bit messy. It's worth the few dollars it costs to go to Wal Mart or another discount store and just get some of the lotion or cream they sell to take the scratches out of your CD's. It works with toothpaste that has baking soda in it. Chapstick works better though.
