Would I be better buying an ipod or an mp3 player?

I guess an Ipod? but........... many people say that my mp3 player(Sandisk m230) is cool? but it's just my opinion? What do you think? Do not buy Zune. It is not compatable with the new release of Vista operating system. So it will be no good after this year.

MP3 is nicer because they have radio. Ipod sucks. Get one with video capabilities. I got a Zune for christmas and I love it, I just wish it was my cell phone also. That would be cool. Well, I have to aggree with some of the previous answers. An Ipod is a mp3 player. It also just a name. There are plenty of mp3 players out there that do alot more than Ipods do for the same price. Microsofts' Zune is much better than an Ipod. Hell, even the Zen is much better than an ipod. Ipod's are great and all but they aren't worth the prices that they want people to pay. The nano and mini's aren't worth it. They have phones that do just as much as those. I would go with the Zune or Zen because you can get more bang for you buck. Plus, they are less widely known, therefore you have a better chance of not getting robbed for one. IPOD also its been around longer It all depends on what kind of computer you have also. If you have a Mac hands down.....Ipod. I have a current problem with mine because i have microsoft. My ipod mini works fine but i can't get the Itunes to update for my new ipod shuffle...so it just sits in it's box. If you want want to put six hundred songs on your music playing device, I'd say go with Ipod. However, if you don't need all that space and only want, oh say, maybe 200 songs, then I'd reccomend an MP3 player.
