Why does the play/record button on my boomboxes break after only a few uses? I am still using them t
I record cds to my cassettes and after very little use,
the record/play button does not work, while the play
only button works. I am not up to modern
conveniences like the I-pod, etc.

Cassettes (OMG!) get an ipod. Here is a list of things the ipod can do: play videos, movies, games, store photos, converts to a hard drive to store files, syncs to your email address book and calendar. The 30 gig holds about 7500 songs and the 80gig holds about 15,000 songs. hope that helped you decide. I have a 30g video, i am never without it.
