It new or have you had it for awhile?
if it's new it may be a manufacture defect if you've purchased it in the last year you should still have the warranty. Look in the owners manual and it will give you the phone number you need to call to set up the repair. It should only cost you postage.
If you've had it for a while it could be the battery. there are 2 things that could help 1-let the battery die completely charge it for 8-12 hours repeat this 3 times it should reset your batteries memory 2.if this dosen't work you may have to buy a new battery. if both of these ideas fail you may have to get a new phone sorry.
since it is new you can use the let it die 3 times in the previous paragraph. That should train the phone to how you use it
