Why can't I transfer files with onto my Motorola V3 razr?
I have Motorola Phone Tools, it's updated and everything, I connect through a USB cable- computer detects phone installs drivers and then says that the new hardware has been installed, so I start MPT and it also tells me that the phone is connected but as soon as I go to transfer files in the multimedia studio it says it can't communicate with the phone???
I really am at a dead end, I've looked through numerous fourms and tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything various times, but it's not working...which I don't understand since it did work the very first time I installed it!

what type of file are you trying to put on your phone?

check them out make sure your phone isn't running any apps, and it might be a good idea to close other windows on your computer as well.
it might have something to do with your user profile, or you may have a defective cable.
(i have a black razr and it works completely fine, nothing malfunctions when i run MPT)
