I get annoyed too,when it prevents them from doing what their first task at hand is--like--driving properly!! Obsessed with mobility and technology that allows you to have a link to 911 and your family?? I can understand a disgust for people walking around with those silly bluetooths on their ears or the constant chattering and ignoring their driving or others around them, but cell phones as a general rule are a great advancement. I love the security I feel carrying one. yeah i agree ditto....me too For kids, it is definetly an obbsession. Kids are ostrisized at school for not having the "hip and cool" thing.
Adultss: It's not nessacerilly an obbsession. Some adults need it for work. Because they don't have lives of their own. Agreed....I don't own one..never saw the need for it.
But from the latest surveys.....cell phones are becoming the only phone a family has and land lines are becoming obsolete.
I'm sure land lines would be obsolete if the cell companies lifted restrictions and lowered prices. yup same here Well I don't think it is necessary to people to be on the mobile for long periods of time but it is happening everything. Mobile communication has had a big impact on people lives and it has had a more postive impact than negative one in the sense it gives people a sense of security,
