Which UK mobile phone provider offers the best roaming rate for Europe?
I spend most of my time working in Europe, but because I move from country to country its easier to have a UK mobile phone with roaming but which offers the best tariff? I am currently with Vodafone but to be honest if I ever spoke to one of the customer service reps that new what they were talking about I am sure I would pass out with shock.
Is it possible to use inclusive minutes abroad?
I dont mind PAYG or pay monthly I just need a good deal when I have to make calls from Europe.

Well, three (http://www.three.co.uk ) have just scrapped their roaming charges for calls made in Europe (using their European networks). The other networks are well placed to do this too.
The other thing you can do is negotiate when you buy the phone (in a store or over the phone) and ask for a European call bundle (usually discounts) to be added when you buy.
Today I threatened to move my account from o2 and receive a new phone, half price line rental for 12 months, 100 extra minutes and discounted European and US roaming charges. It should work with Vdafone too - call and ask for your PAC code (allows you to transfer the service) - they'll divert you to a retention agent - then just ask for what you want. Use any competing offers as a reference.
