xbox360 surround sond.. only one cable port no a/v port is rf adapter all i need?
just got new surround sound and my tv just has the cable port/outlet.
looking at the diagram this thing has it shows a coaxial digital cord going into the dvd player.. since the 360 does not have a spot for that i dont use it right?????????
god please help ive been fooling around with this too long i have a feeling it can be done with the correct cords i just dont know which ones
Answer:
The composite and s-video cables only come with red/white RCA to deliver stereo audio. You need the Xbox 360 component or VGA cable. It has an optical audio port on the cable. Connect the optical audio cable to your AV receiver.
You cannot use coax or RF adapters to transmit surround sound.
