wireless yourself?

i have a music system with two speakers and two wired surround speakers. Company: Sanyo. I would like to make them wireless myself. at least 5mts of length. Any ideas anyone?

You should have looked at this from the time that you bought your system. The problem is that wired speakers are passive, which means they get their signal and power from the same line, and that is all sent from the amplifier, hence the name amplifier. It amplifies the signal and sends it to the speakers. Wireless speakers typically get the signal and the power from different sources. No wireless speakers are truely wireless, as they need to be plugged in for power. The exception would be speakers with batteries built in, but they would just be a huge hassle. The benefit is that if you buy a wireless system, you just don't have to run wires from the front of the room to the back. The speakers will still have some sort of wire attached to them, at least for power. By the time you account for the extra equipment you would need and the hassle it will be having this system, it might benefit you more just to hire an electrician to come an fish some wire to the back of your room. I know that this isn't what you want to hear, but i'm just telling it how it is. Wireless systems are very, very buggy. If I understood this correctly you want to make just the surround speakers wireless. I believe this would require buying new speakers.
