no it won't sidhu-i agree with the first answer you will in fact make things worse and in the really serious scenario could in fact fry your output circuits-your system is what is called in home theatre parly a "5.1"-five sattellites and a subwoofer. your system is not designed to incorperate extra speakers-adding extra speakers could not only result in damage to your unit because you are adding extra load to the amp. it would end up sounding like two tin cans and a peice of string-if the bugdet can spare it go for an a/v receiver (a 6.1/7.1) with seperate speakers-these set-ups go up to unlimited wattage (my own is 1700 watts) so if the wallet can handle it there is plenty for you to play with....nb further to answer by xenonaudio-i couldn't agree more-the finest amp i ever heard was my old quad two-two which was a stereo amp. while this amp was of the highest quality there is no way it could match the performance of the multichannel amp i have today-no dis-respect but regardless of quality there is no way a two channel amp can do the same job as a good quality 5.1/6.1/7.1 av receiver-and this is what home theatre is all about-multichannel surround sound. Nope, in fact it will make it worse.
Unless you have an amplifier that can process more chanels, adding speakers will just blur the image that you would get from 1 speaker per chanel More bad speakers will just make more bad sound.
