It depends on what dvd software you are using to copy a dvd. Most programs will copy a video folder & a audio folder, but if the dvd you are trying to copy is structured diferently than I just described, it may not get one or the other or either folder. I would try using a different copying software program, there are many free ones on the net.
If offered you may want to try ripping the file as a iso file, instead of letting the program create a video & audio folder. Make sure you are doing an exact copy and that the disk is not copy protected. I know someone that had the same problem. They had to use NERO 6, Slysoft ANYDVD, and DVD Shrink. To make an exact copy of a DVD. Take into consideration that this will be costly and illegal if the DVD is protected.
