whats a good loud bangin base speaker or woofer whichever for a room?

Here are some good choices that should meet or exceed your criteria...

Cerwin Vega 12" or 15" tower speakers or subwoofer(s). There's probably no better choice for such an efficient speaker system (95 dB @ 1m/1w) that plays the low bass notes (in the 20's @ -3 dB) to shake things off the shelves and open loosely latched doors for such a relatively low price.

Another good choice that will do a very good job with a very nice build-quality, high sensitivity (96 dB @ 1m/1w) with a small footprint for the low price...

BIC Acoustech H100 powered subwoofer . . . . . ~$250/ea.

Of course, although quite a bit more expensive, probably nothing on this side of $10,000 will you find a more efficient, low-distortion, ultra high SPLs, and super dynamic than the large classic Klipsch models, specifically the 104 dB (@ 1m/1w), the Klipschorn. This system has its own nitche in "loud"speaker world that has stood for over 50 years. If you have a large room, this system will rock the whole house with true music concert levels.

Loud banging = cerwin vega. It doesn't sound particularly good, but hey, who cares, it's loud.

Of course, you could just buy a used chainsaw to make loud noise for less money. a screwdriver chucked into an electric drill...
