it does everything except put noise to the speakers there is no exterior fuse noticable can anyone help remedy my problem?

I agree with first answer. Either you crossed your speaker leads, and protection kicked in - or you don't have the speakers selected (A/B). Did you buy it used? If not, there is a section on troubleshooting this in the owner's manual. Check 6 channel input first that may be it normally if you hit that button it can shut off everything. Also if it powers on make sure that your speakers are connected properly because you could have the security on to prevent from blowing your speakers. Will it produce sound(noise) with headphones??? you have a ext in button on the front panel press this to switch out of this mode or press the mode button
