Wireless Audio transfer?
im wondering if i can get something like this. if it dosent exist. please dont steal my idea!
I recently got Sirius Radio for my car. now to play it in my home i have to buy th home kit for $50 or listen online. now is there i way i can wirelessly transfer the audio coming from my pc to the red and white rca audio inputs on my 5.1 surround sound reciever? my computer is in a totally different room but only about 10-15 feet away from my surround sound reciever. i also thought about just buying alot of extension for the headphone to rca style cable, drilling a small hole through the wall and just running a long wire to connect the two. or should i just buy the home kit? what is the best way to get the sound to my reciever?

The longer the wire you use to connect your computer to the receiver, the more likely it is that you will experience signal loss and/or distortion in the signal. However, that is the least expensive method I can think of.
Next in line would probably be the "home kit" for $50.
My solution is Apple's Airport Express, which costs $129. I had to buy a third party solution for $30 [software is called Airfoil] to increase functionality of the Airport Express to stream audio from any application, rather than from iTunes only.
New products seem to be coming out every day to address this problem, but they all look expensive at the moment.
It sounds like the "home kit" for $50 is probably your best option.
