Will putting a bigger magnet on the back of your bass speaker increase the bass output?

In fact by doing this, the speaker would produce alot less bass. The magnet would be pulling the speaker back constantly, not allowing it to move forward which shifts the air molecules. Buy a bigger/better quality amp and sub! You can't just change the magnet on the speaker. You would need to buy a better speaker. Speakers are designed the way they are for a reason. As another user said, if you want more bass, get a larger subwoofer and/or amp. Beware not to overdrive your system, though.
