Why is there an echo in my surround sound, and no sync?
When I use my 5.1 sont surround sound, there is a delay, and it doesn't sync with my picture. Also, should I use my tv audio also?

What type of system do you have? This will help me answer a little. Some things you can do in the mean time. Make sure you have some pictures on the wall, blinds and curtains put up and a few pillows on your coach. This will help keep reverberation to a minimum. Surround setups don't like flat hard surfaces.
I know on my Onkyo I have an option to specify the distance from each speaker to the viewers main listening area so the sound output from each speaker reaches my listening area exactly when it should. If you can't get the name of the system, doublecheck all wiring is connected properly and refer to your owner's manual.
Turn your tv all the way down when you watch movies with the surround on. The tvs audio out will allow your tv to hook into your receiver. You won't get 5.1 sound from this unless it's specified on a certain program and your tv supports it. But you should get a decent stereo type of sound. I don't do this b/c I just don't watch much cable at all.
