Which is the best amplifier for BOSE?
Guys I have decided to purchase
Acoustimass? 10 Series IV Home Entertainment Speaker System by Bose.
Can anyone tell me the most optimum amplifier for this product and its price.I would also like to know any good reliable shops selling amplifiers in chennai.

That amplifier puts out an incredible amount of distortion & that's not even at the normal 20 - 20000 Hz that everybody else lists, so it's even higher than that.
The absolute minimum amount of THD you should allow for any amp you are considering buying is 0.05% THD @ 20 Hz - 20 KHz.
% of THD @ 20 Hz - 20 KHz is the most important rating when considering buying an amplifier. Because that is the percentage of distortion that can be heard in the human hearing range. The lower the number the better.
It's not surprising though, because every product I've ever seen & heard from Bose has been over priced low quality junk.
Don't throw your money away on Bose, you can buy better sounding speakers & amps for less from almost every major brand. (Avoid Sony surround sound amps, they're extremely poor quality amps.)
For your amp get a Yamaha. Or at least an Onkyo, or Denon if you can't find a Yamaha you like.
For speakers Polk & Infinity are good brands, but for home audio it doesn't make much difference which brand of speaker you buy. Just listen to the speakers in your price range & pick the one you think sounds best.
