Which is a better buy the Sony STR-DG500 or the Onkyo TX-SR304S receiver?

i've had an onkyo 5-channel reciever for 7 years and narry a problem. it puts out very clear, powerful sound. onkyo is like sony's little red-headed stepchild. the circuitry is not just printed circuit board, any place where high-powered signals travel there are actual in-laid wires which are strategically placed to minimize interferance and maximize heat dissapation. the construction and performance of onkyo demonstratably outshines sony. one problem: that onkyo model does not have composite video inputs/outputs. In this case, probably the Sony....although Onkyo is the better brand when talking high end receivers. Do a Google search for reviews on them both. You can get the Onkyo for $79.00 on Amazon and the Sony for $159.88.
