Which DVD Player?
I want a cheap dvd player but it must be multi region, dvd ram compatible, and have a coaxial output. my best option so far is the Panasonic DVDS52 for ￡99, is this machine any good, is there any thing cheaper, not bothered about upscaling as i dont have HD

You got it brother, Panasonic is the best out there. I make movies and give them to people as gifts and most of them can't play them in their expensive Sony's, but with my panasonic I can play anything, even MP3's !!! Also, read the side of the box, it will tell you what region and what formats it plays, most people don't read this and get the shaft later down the road. the cheapest is the best! look for a dvd player that will play divx files,they will play a lot of different formats,i have two philips and they are great dvd players $57 for the money but they make cheaper ones all UK perchased DVD players are set to region 2

The one you mentioned is good...to be honest aint much difference at that price level Well, I've just bought meself an ALBA DVD74 from ARGOS (533/3514) and hacked it to play multi region. Not a bad player. And all for ￡19.99.
I've paid ￡300 for a player in the past. The cheaper players nowadays are pretty good.

And it has a coaxial output.
And it plays computer created DVDs. I'm not sure about being RAM compatible tho. It plays things that are viewed and saved via Windows Media Player.
The great thing about ARGOS is they have a 14 day return policy if you're not happy. its good go for it
