look for 2nd hand one, should not cost more than 800 bucks look, on yahoo shopping here are the steps to follow

Sams club and Costco usually have projectors for really cheap, but beware they might have shorter warranties and once you get beyond their return window, there isnt much customer support. But its worth it if you dont have a problem.

This one is really cheap for native 720p for $689 (as of today). Its discontinued, so its a good deal.

I is high res so it works great. I love it. I'll never go back to those little 60" flat screens, plus they cost too much. Now if your you want true HD you'll have to look at the Home Theater Projectors that have HDMI connections for your HD programing. Happy Hunting.
