Whats the best home stereo speakers??
I love my JBL's. I can't see why people buy those "mini" speakers that are out today.Give me dual 12" 3-way JBL's anyday.They ROCK!!!!! With BIG speaker cabinets,you don"t need a seperate sub.

Although I am trying to get rid of my Cerwin VS-15's because they take up too much space, also now that I am 40 I want a little less power and more refined sound. I have built my own 3-ways, towers with 2 10", 4" mid and 1" dome tweeter
(Morel tweeters are the bomb!)
Little speakers and a sub often sounds hideous- too much low bass emphasis and no detail= suck big time for music!!! i bet you would love the Klipsch referacne line. they sound a lot like the JBL's do, that in your face kind of music. they do it with, most of the time, a pair of 8'' woofers and a horn tweeter.
if your going for sound quality though, you cant beat B&W. Get Cerwin-Vega VE-15s if you really want to rock out!
